OFFERS & ACCEPTANCE

WELCOME OFFER
Once you complete your application and have self-reported your expected Grade 12 marks, a brief assessment of your application will be performed using the information you provided. If you have indicated that you will have met all of the admission requirements, you may receive a Welcome Offer of potential admission. If you have applied by the Entrance Scholarship deadline, your Welcome Offer may also contain information on your potential entrance scholarship.

ADMISSION OFFER
If you apply for admission by the Entrance Scholarship deadline, most faculties will provide notification of provisional admission in May. Provisional offers will be made after interim Grade 12 results are received.

ACCEPTANCE
To hold your place, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance by June 3, 2014. You will be notified if your admission status changes based upon your final academic results.
Note: If you apply for admission after the Entrance Scholarship deadline, you will receive notification of the admission decision through your online portal after your final Grade 12 results are received at the end of June. Upon successful admission, you will be required to accept your admission offer before course registration.

SCHOLARSHIP OFFER
Most Entrance Scholarship offers will be made based on interim Grade 12 marks provided students have applied for admission by the Entrance Scholarship deadline. Final marks will be used when available. Some scholarships may only be offered upon receipt of final Grade 12 marks.

Note: Some programs, such as the Marcel A. Desautels, Faculty of Music, the School of Art, the School of Dental Hygiene and the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management, use various criteria in the admission process, therefore not all students will receive a Welcome Offer. All applicants will be considered for admission.
