Campus Tours

General campus tours are available most Fridays at 10:00am and 2:00pm. Advance notice is required to book a tour time. Tours are also available upon request between Monday and Friday during regular business hours. Tours are most suitable for students in Grade 11 and up.  Parents, family, and friends are welcome to attend.

Most campus tours are approximately 90 minutes in length and focus on the spots and services of most relevance to new or incoming university students.

General Campus tours typically involve:

  • A short advisory session outlining admission requirements and application deadlines
  • Student services and important offices
  • Examples of typical first-year classrooms
  • Visits to faculty buildings
  • Campus libraries
  • Campus recreation and social opportunities
  • Student residences

Group Tours
Group tours or school tours are available upon request throughout the year and are most suitable for high-school students in Grade 10 and up.

Note:  All tours are offered on our Fort Garry campus, the home of the majority of our programs and all of the UM’s direct entry programs. Students interested in seeing more of our Bannatyne campus, the home to most of our medical related programs, should contact their specific program of interest for more information. Students are required to complete a short questionnaire prior to their tour.  We do not offer campus tours on weekends or holidays.
