Interested in visiting the University of Manitoba? Take a campus tour or attend one of our special events to learn more about the university, our programs and services, and the social and recreational opportunities available to our students.

Students who have already been admitted to the University of Manitoba and who are starting their classes in Fall 2013 are encouraged to attend Summer Tours offered by the Office of Student Life. For more information or to register, click here.


Campus Tours

Individual and group tours are available for students on most Fridays or upon request. Parents, family, and friends are welcome. Tours are approximately 90 minutes in length and include the buildings and services of most relevance to new or incoming university students. Specific faculty visits and residence tours are available upon request, but are subject to staff availability. For more information or to register for a campus tour, click here.

Minnesota Student Day - Friday, October 18th, 2013

Students from Minnesota looking to learn more about the University of Manitoba are encouraged to participate in our Minnesota Student Day on Friday, October 18, 2013. Tours specific to Minnesota students and their families will be offered at 10:00am and 2:00pm on October 18th to correspond with the MEA school break.

Evening of Excellence - Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

Held annually in late October, this evening open house is for high-achieving Grade 11 & Grade 12 students who excel in the classroom, in the community, or as athletes on the field. Learn more about scholarship opportunities, attend special presentations, and meet current students and staff from your program of interest.

Discovery Day for International Students - Thursday November 21st, 2013

International students who are finishing their high school education in Canada are encouraged to attend this half-day event in November. Hosted by International Student Recruitment & Admissions, students will learn more about services and supports for International students, attend an information fair, and go on a campus tour.

Info Days - Wednesday, February 19th & Thursday, February 20th, 2014

Held annually in mid-February, this two-day open house is a great opportunity for school groups, students, and families to explore campus. Attend fun mini-university lectures, get active in our recreation facilities, check out the entertainment on our main stage, and learn more about the subjects that interest you.
