Your attendance at this event is extremely important, since we would like the opportunity to honor your successful completion of a post-secondary program. Upon your arrival at the Traditional Graduation PowWow please notify the Graduates registration table, which will be located on the main level of the Investors Group Athletic Centre, at least 30 minutes prior to the Grand Entry scheduled for 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Personal information is collected by the Aboriginal Student Centre POWWOW Committee for purposes of creating certificates for the graduate and to notify him/her of details of the ceremony. Name and degree only is listed in the Program Booklet.

The Migizii Award is to acknowledge a university staff member who went above and beyond for you and/or other Aboriginal students on campus. Has someone helped you on your academic journey and you would like to have them honoured at the Traditional Graduation Powwow? This award is available to all staff members of the University of Manitoba, both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal who made a difference. Fill out the nomination form here.
