If you are a University of Manitoba Faculty Member (UMFA) or if you are not an UMFA member but you are teaching a University of Manitoba credit-course, you are eligible to participate in the University of Manitoba’s SpeakEASY Program.  The focus is on comprehensibility so that communication is clear.
 
SpeakEASY is a confidential program with individualized one-on-one sessions based on the requests and concerns of each participant.  Sessions include optional classroom observations.

For UMFA members, there is no fee; funding is provided by the English Language Centre.  For nonUMFA participants who are teaching U of M credit-courses, the participant pays a total of $50.00 for five 50-minute sessions.  The remaining cost of the program is covered by the English Language Centre.
