If you are a University of Manitoba Faculty Member (UMFA) or if you are not an UMFA member but you are teaching a University of Manitoba credit-course, you are eligible to participate in the University of Manitoba’s SpeakEASY Program. The focus is on comprehensibility so that ideas can be communicated clearly.

SpeakEASY is a confidential program with individualized one-on-one sessions based on the requests and concerns of each participant. Sessions include optional classroom observations.

For UMFA members, there is no fee because funding is provided by the Office of the Vice-Provost (Academic Affairs) and the English Language Centre. For nonUMFA participants who are teaching U of M credit-courses, the fee is partially funded by the English Language Centre; a nonUMFA participant pays a total of only $50.00 for five 50-minute sessions.
