In order to provide financial assistance to international students, the International Undergraduate Student Bursary has been created. These bursaries will be offered to international students who:

• have completed at least one, full-time year of university study in Canada (at a recognized post-secondary institution)
• first year students are not eligible
• are in Canada on a valid study permit;
• enrolled full-time in any Faculty or School at the University of Manitoba;
• are paying the international student tuition fee;
• have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0; and 
• have demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form.

International students in their first year of post-secondary study in Canada are not eligible to apply to the general bursary program.

Recipients of the International Undergraduate Student Bursaries will be notified at the end of the Fall term. All University of Manitoba bursaries are intended to help with student tuition and living costs in the Winter term.
