ICS programs and services are designed to help international students succeed academically in a Canadian university environment, adapt to and experience Canadian culture, share their international perspectives, make new friends, and ensure their experience is enjoyable, safe, and successful.

Programs and Services for ALL University of Manitoba Students

You don't have to be an international student to access ICS programs and services - we provide programs and services for all U of M students.

Would you like to study in another country as an Exchange student? Are you curious about international work and travel opportunities? Maybe you would like to get international experience right here at the U of M through a volunteer placement. Whatever your international interests are, a great place to start is at the ICS office.

Explore the opportunities and resources at ICS:

• ICS Exchange Programs:  Study in another country for one (1) or two (2) terms.  The U of M has exchange agreements with universities throughout the world!  Visit the Exchange Program section of the ICS web site to find out where you can study and how to apply.  

• World W.I.S.E. Resource Centre:   The World W.I.S.E. Resource Centre helps students find Work, Internship, Study, and Exchange opportunities throughout the world.  Whether you are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or international student, the Centre’s large resource library and knowledgeable staff can help you find an opportunity to suit your interests and budget.  The Centre also organizes a variety of events, seminars, and guest speakers throughout the year.
