LIFE IN WINNIPEG

Winnipeg is one of the most affordable cities in Canada and is full of opportunities. As the 2010 Culture Capital of Canada, Winnipeg is a city where people can experience a wide array of world-class arts and culture on every corner.

Winnipeg is also home to a professional baseball team, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, a National Hockey League (NHL) team, the Winnipeg Jets, and a professional football team, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who will soon play in their new stadium located on the U of M campus.
 

WINNIPEG'S CLIMATE
Winnipeg is a city which offers a full range of temperatures, ranging from +30 degrees Centigrade in the summer (June to August) to -30 degrees Centigrade in the Winter (November to March). 

If you will be arriving in Winnipeg during the Winter, wear the warmest clothing you own, and wait until you are here to buy appropriate winter clothing.
