The World W.I.S.E. Resource Centre and CPAR Tanzania are looking for four talented and motivated U of M students to take part in a unique, not-for-credit, cross-cultural learning experience! Badili Mtizamo is Swahili for 'change the way you see things'. The theme of this year's program is 'Girl Power!' and is designed to deliver a curriculum on gender equity, leadership and health to secondary school boys and girls in the Karatu District of Tanzania. This five-week project will be supervised by Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (cpar.ca).
The experience will take you off the beaten path! It will challenge you, enrich you, and provide you with a new perspective on the world and your place in it. Read more about last year's program at: tanzaniajourney.wordpress.com.
