WORLD OPPORTUNITIES WEEK 2011

WORLD OPPORTUNITIES WEEK (W.O.W.)
November 8 - 10, 2011

Looking for international opportunities?  Not sure where to start?  Not even sure what you want to do or where you want to go?  Each year the World W.I.S.E. Resource Centre hosts World Opportunities Week (W.O.W.) to inform students about travel, study, work, intern, and volunteer opportunities around the world.

World Opportunities Week 2011 has been designed to inspire and motivate students to become involved in their local and international communities. The three-day event provides information on a variety of international opportunities from internships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and academic exchanges to volunteer opportunities right here in Winnipeg.  Representatives from international organizations, NGOs, and U of M programs will be on campus informing students about how they can become engaged in international work. A host of special events promoting global citizenship and cultural awareness will also be taking place. W.O.W. offers students variety within which they can find something that relates to them.
