Imagine being able to put on your resume that you recruited exchange students, researched international issues, distributed resource centre materials, oriented new international students to Canada, attended skill building workshops, visited key NGO and international centres around Winnipeg, helped recruit and manage volunteers, planned major events on campus, and gained public speaking skills, all while networking with di!erent communities on campus... not bad!
World W.I.S.E. is looking to build a team of volunteers that will help make connections on campus, and help World W.I.S.E. in internationalizing our university.
How Does it Work?
Students will be expected to...
Commit to 50 hours of volunteer work throughout the year (minimum) Be available for an interview between August 21st and August 24th, 2012 Attend the World W.I.S.E. Ambassadors Orientation September 7th, 2012 Promote World W.I.S.E. events and programs help plan major events such as World Oppotunities Week and International Development Week
