You must withdraw from courses using Aurora Student. The amount eligible for refunds is calculated based on the full cost of the course (not including field trip fees and late registration payments). Fee adjustments will first be applied to outstanding balances (including fees assessed for the next term of registration). Refund cheques are normally mailed within four to six weeks and only if there are no balances owing to the University or to a provincial and/or federal loan funding body.

Withdrawal and Fees
In order to receive a refund of fees, students wishing to withdraw from courses must do so before the end of the Revision Period in each term. (See 2012-2013 Irregular Refund / VW dates - below).

2012 – 2013 Irregular Refund and VW Deadlines

Refund & VW Deadlines for courses offered outside the standard term dates have specific prorated deadlines. Refunds are offered before complete of 15% of the course or program term. VWs are permitted before completion of 75% of the course or program term. Please confirm refund and withdrawal dates with your Faculty. Some Faculties post refund and withdrawal dates on their website. Students may also refer to the Class Schedule for applicable dates.
