In total, 12,488 students completed the survey, yielding a response rate of 39%. In this report, we provide a profile of first-year students.

Completed in April 2009, the 2009 CUSC Survey of Graduating Students focused on undergraduate students who were set to graduate in the spring of 2009. The survey involved over 27,000 students at 34 universities across Canada. In total, 12,160 graduating students completed the survey. This report is the first in a series of six that highlights findings of the 2009 survey.
