Following the discipline process, many students experience a loss of confidence in their academic abilities, and express concerns about avoiding future allegations. A new service is available for students to meet with the Academic Integrity Coordinator who can offer confidential follow-up support for a student who has faced an allegation of academic misconduct. This service provides students with individualized support to ensure that they are well-equipped to return to their studies with the tools and information to be successful. During this appointment, the student is assisted in identifying current and anticipated challenges and developing a strategy for dealing with academic stressors by utilizing relevant resources and services. Please refer students to the Student Advocacy office at 204-474-7423 to make an appointment if you feel the student would benefit from this service.
