Feel like taking a spin class? Challenging yourself on the climbing wall? Swimming some laps? The Frank Kennedy Centre is home to the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management and is the focus of the university's athletic programs. This versatile facility has a six-lane water pool and diving area, two weight training areas, two recently renovated 8,000 square foot gymnasiums, one recently renovated 6,900 square foot gymnasium, squash and racquetball courts, an underground indoor track, and a dry sauna.
On Bannatyne campus, the Joe Doupe Centre features a weight room, track, and gymnasium used for group fitness classes and intramural activities.
Recreation Services offers group classes, including wellness activities such as yoga, at various times so you can work out around your academic schedule. Unwind, destress, and build that mind/body connection!
