University 1 provides a first year that is as unique as each student's interests and abilities. University 1 was created to help you navigate your first year of study by providing flexible programs that save you time and money, with each student supported by a team of Academic Advisors and support staff to help you succeed and grow.

University 1 is:

• A first year planning method which can include the required courses for 1 or more target faculties, allowing time to build experience and study skills before making a faculty decision;
• A learning philosophy which recognizes the personal and academic challenges of first year, particularly when entering directly from high school or periods spent away from study;
• A system of support services, including first year focused Academic Advisors who are experts in guiding students through the earliest - and often most challenging - stage of their degree.
