Parents Resources

University 1 Academic Advisors are here to provide students with support and guidance with regard to university resources, policies, and procedures, as well as to help students find their degree path. We respect their growing independence and hold them accountable for their decisions.

University 1 encourages parents, guardians, and other family members to be invested in their student's university experience; however, we must also adhere to the FIPPA and PHIA Acts that govern our practices, to protect student confidentiality.

The resources provided here are meant to facilitate an understanding of the university experience so that parents, guardians, and other family members can help their student help themselves to succeed at the University of Manitoba.
