- the Brazilian Case
Abstract:
Brazil is conducting
a modernization of its Brazilian Classification of Occupations (CBO).
In this modernization we are utilizing the competences concept and reorganizing
the current occupations in a larger frame (that is called occupational
family). In order to do this we are utilizing the Dacum Method.
Senai (National
Service of Industrial Apprenticeship) is leading the descriptions of
the industrial occupations in this new CBO. Till now we have already
involved almost 3000 workers specialists and 1500 companies.
At same time Senai
is implementing a System of Occupational Informations that has the purpose
of creating a permanent monitoration of the labor market based on the
occupational family focus. In order to accomplish this goal we are developing
a pilot experience by reorganizing the networks of specialists (3000
workers) and companies (1500 companies). During one step of this monitoration
process we are planning utilize the Dacum Method.
