UNEVOC-Canada, the Canadian Center for UNESCO’s International Project on Technical and Vocational Education and the International Center for the Enhancement of Learning Potential will co-host an International Conference on August 18-25, 2001 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The international conference will focus on enhancing learning potential of children, youth and adults, and in particular, as it relates to Dr. Reuven Feuerstein's work in Structural Cognitive Modifiability and Mediated Learning Experience (for more information on these theories, please consult Dr. Feuerstein's web site: www.icelp.org). The workshops will provide participants with knowledge and training on the two systems derived from Dr. Feuerstein's work, Learning Potential Assessment Device (LPAD) and Instrumental Enrichment (IE).

The two-day conference involving presenters from around the world will be followed by five days of workshops led by Dr. Reuven Feuerstein and colleagues from ICELP. Participants may attend the conference without also committing to the workshops, and vice versa. Workshop participants will receive certificates of attendance. The evenings will feature roundtable and panel discussions.


Following this international conference, participants may continue their training through workshops offered by the ICELP and it’s authorized training centers in North America. Learning Skills Enhancement will be of interest to:
