ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS   In order to qualify, applicants must fall under the following criteria: Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident,  Must be up to 30 years of age,  Must be ready to join the workforce - i.e. they are out of school, NOT enrolled in an educational program, and have no current plans to return to school,  Must be unemployed or underemployed,  Must have graduated from a formal educational program in science, technology, or education,  Must demonstrate a willingness to learn a second language, if necessary,  Must demonstrate a willingness to participate and be able to commit to the entire six months (minimum) of the program,  Must have a clear idea of their short and long term career aspirations,  Must have strong communication skills,  Must not have participated in a YES (Youth Employment Strategy) program, and  Must not have had previous paid international career related work experience.
