What kind of music are you all interested in playing? I play accordian, a bit of guitar (acoustic and electric), I'm learning bass, and I know piano/keyboard...

man, an accordian player and a bassist. this is exciting. i love the chili peppers, and would cite john fruiciante as one of my biggest influences as a guitarist. no interest in playing covers though...
brettly, i'm interested in playing anything. i have a classical backround, but love rock, jazz, canadian indie, whatever, whenever. what are you into?

Okay.. well I think we've got something going here.. we've got accordian, bass, and all we need is someone with a low voice, and someone who can decently pick a guitar, and we've got a johnny cash band. As for me, I play a lot of different shiznit... anything from country jigs and reels to classic country(johnny cash, john denver) to new country (Brad paisley, tim mcgraw, garth brooks)(on guitar) to classical music(on piano) or soft rock/alternative (the fray, coldplay, evanescence)(keyboard).. I haven't really played any hard stuff because i don't jam with drums and I'm not that good on electric.. but i'm open to trying to out

I do have a midi-keyboard and a pile of softwear synths on my laptop, but unfortunately the keyboards' in Vancouver. I'll be bringing it back with me at christmas, so if we are still jamming then you'll have something to play on.
I have a bass amp, a guitar amp, as well as a piano here, but we wouldn't be able to jam past 5 on any day(when my relatives get home from work). If you guys have a day where you don't have classes, or you have classes in the morning this would work fine.

I sing. Mostly car and shower style. I'm not gonna lie, I think I'm not half bad. I've done a wedding, a graduation & a couple of "liquid encouraged" kareokees. I come across as a really outgoing personality, but inwardly I am the most fragile person I know. My nerves generally get the best of me, and I tend to "hold back" in front of others; this is a quality I would like to strengthen. I may not be what you are looking for, which is fine..."to each their own", but I am open to any suggestions that may help me in this area.

i donno if anyone's still interested, or if anyones just too shy to stick out there neck and play in front of other people, but i, for one, have learned terrible habits and my timing is crap. that being said, ill still jam, cause the very best way of getting better is jamming with other musicians and picking up good habits from them.
if anyone is interested then email me.
sounds like there were a bunch of people interested, but its been a while...

Forsooth!
I totally have a low voice, and am totally willing to actually sing and stuff. Regardless, the only songs I know are either a) Jonny Cash, or B) Iron Maiden. Possibly Stan Getz, but that's only because I used to play trumpet.
If you guys are still looking for a 'drummer', I would be happy to come by and display my skills as a 'drummer'. What would a jam be without a 'drummer'?
With a catch.
First I'll ask if any of you have ever heard of "Fubuki Daiko"(www.fubuki.ca check out the vids etc), THEN I'll come back here and laugh at the responses.
Cheerio!
~Rex
PS: I also enjoy liquid-reinforced vocalizations. Perhaps we should get together and have some Liquid Encouraged Fun? mmyes?
