Hello out there...
I never realized how difficult being a grad student is socially. You get so busy with your studies... and work... and life... there isn't much time to meet new people.
Other individuals are looking for friends on this thing but they are mostly undergraduate (which is fine!) but I know they aren't in the same space as I am in their lives.
I have no social life. Any other grad students in the same spot?

Hey!
Well, I like going to movies, museums... things like that. I'm not really a bar person but I don't mind going for a drink from time to time. How about you?

Hello Suzanne,
Yes, grad studies really does make a social life difficult. Aside from not having time/energy to meet new people, I rarely see other grad students. Where do the grad students congregate?

Hey all you grad students! I'm interested in meeting and hanging out with fellow grad students too. Aside from this, what do you think about forming a support group that meets perhaps once a week, to share our triumphs, as well as to encourage and help one another in our trials and tribulations? Anyone interested?
