Find something new to read

Find something new to read
I'm starting to run out of reading material here, and I'm not sure of what to try next.
I've read all of Stephen King, most of Dean Koontz, Greg Iles, John Saul and I'm done with Dan Brown. Should I try a different genre? Any suggestions?

If you haven't read any Chuck Palahniuk, then I highly recommend it. He's the guy who wrote Fight Club, but some other books of his are 'Haunted' and 'Diary'. There's a few others that I can't remember the title of right now. His stuff is pretty messed up.

David Eddings
Right now I'm reading David Eddings. I thoroughly enjoy his books. Of course, they are fantasy and that's pretty much all that I read.

And I can't help but recommend Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. It is so good.

Books, but not Textbooks
Read Life of Pi by yann martel, its really good.
Scar tissue is amazing, but i love the Chili's so i might be kinda biased...
give them a whirl and see for yourself.
as for me im gonna read fight club, cause i've never seen the movie.
hopefully the book is better!

more fantasy
I suggest Robin Hobb's Assassin series, but if you don't like fantasy, this book is definitely not for you.

chuck palahniuk's books are pretty messed up but they're written in a pretty interesting style. like the person above said, he's written Fight Club, Haunted & Diary but there's also Survivor, Insivible Monsters, Choke, Lullaby & a few more that escapes me at the moment. they're all pretty good so it's difficult to choose one to recommend, i suggest just picking one out of random and just going at it.

also, it's worth mentioning another author, Christopher Moore. he's written Lamb, a hilarious take on the story of jesus, & a few others, however, Lamb is the one i highly recommend from this author.
