MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING
•Involves the design, analysis, production, and even after sales services of engineering and consumer products
•Manufacturing processes are undergoing rapid advancement with enhanced application of computer technology and are entering the computer integrated area
•Quite a dynamic field of engineering when you consider that most of the things that you use on a daily basis are products of some form of manufacturing
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
•Applies the principles of mechanics and energy to design machines and create innovative processes for all aspects of our lives
•Main areas: pollution control processes, automotive design, oil refinement, mining, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, materials, biomechanics
•Mechanical Engineers can specialize in the Aerospace area and work in the design and development of technology for aviation and space exploration
