St. John's College events!?
I just joined St John's and really want to get involved with the college. Does anyone know if they have events that I can get involved in helping out with? I tried the website and there's no info!

I know
I know eh no info on the site! Well I joined a while ago too and I wouldnt mind get involved with some events either.

St. John's College
Hey! I just sent both of you an email about some events that you can get involved with in the College. I hope it made its way to both of you.

To summarize, the next two major activities are:

1) The Student Council Elections (nominations for non-executive, non-umsu positions open soon! Voting for executive takes place Monday, March 17th in the College!)

2) Rip The Strip (The Dean of Studies and the Senior Stick are waxing their legs on CAMPO stage in UC to raise funds for CancerCare on March 25th at 12:00!)

If you have any questions, contact me!

Awesome! Thanks for the email and the info. Do you know who I could talk to about helping out at the Rip the Strip (hilarious name btw)? Do they need advertising? Should I just drop by on March 25th and offer my volunteer skillz?

Well there are a couple of things that you can do to help out:

The first is to tell as many people as you can to get as many people out as possible... which happens to help with #2.

Second is to donate. We can't do this unless we raise at least $600.00! Encourage all your friends to donate with any of the SJCSA members or at the St. John's General Office - even if it is just a couple of dollars (though, $15+ gets a tax receipt!).

Third is to come out and watch. I am pretty sure that we have enough people to run the actual event (doesn't really take a lot to get something like this going), the first two are really important to making this event a success!

Thanks!
