Just curious if anyone knew all of the details about Voluntary withdrawal.
If i drop a course before the VW date, will it affect my mark? Or will it be like i never took the course at all.
And if i do drop this course, Would i be able to retake it again during summer session?
Any comments would be Fantastic, Thanks.

From what I've read depending on the class and your program of study you may only VW so many credit hours (24 or 30 i think) and in some classes your on a list for 12 months indicating first time students have priority over you entering (you may not be able to re-take it if it has high demand and slots fill up for a year).
Hope it helps, Joseph

Hi
VWing from a course will not affect your grade in the course (a VW notation will be reported on your transcript instead of a final grade).
You are permitted to repeat those courses from which you have voluntarily withdrawn but you will need to talk to a student advisor in your home faculty first.

there used to be a limit for the number of allowed VWs but that policy has since changed (at least in the undergraduate faculties - arts, science etc)
