I can relate to that last part u wrote, I love friends also, but finding it really hard to make any as well, even though I was really popular in high school lol! I rarely sit with the same ppl in my classes, and I think I've lost my charm...I don't have the energy for anything most of the time. I'm always going straight home after my classes...maybe that's why. Also, to the comments about the Intro to Uni course, I dropped out of that one. Didn't like it as well.[/QUOTE]

[QUOTE]To make friends at university some of the best things to try doing are a) go down to a student group that interests you and hang out there with people with common interests b) talk to the people in your classes and DON'T take classes with your old high school friends since it discourages meeting new people c) after class is over DON'T just go home, you meet waaaay more people and have waaay more fun at the university after classes are over. just going down to one of the computer labs or having dinner or watching a movie in one of the student lounges you end up running into many people you know from your classes/student groups and can have a fun time just hanging out/studying/having dinner or coffee with them. Most of all DON'T be afraid to talk to strangers, everyone wants a new friend so usually you won't get brushed off if you have something interesting to say.[/QUOTE]
