Thats easy to do though, just get a gym pass and go there during the winter. The tempeture never changes its great.

do u hit the gym at the U? i find some of the gym machines a bit too bit for me and so i cant use them to the full advantage, i got a membership down at Shapes though and its expensive, and would be far to walk to in the winter.

Yeah I go to the Frank Kennedy center gym/weights room, I bought myself a pass the other day. My goal is to go at least once a day between classes.

i also have frank kennedy pass but i havent been there since i joined shapes. i only like the treadmills, stepper and sometimes the indoor track there. the free weights are too far from the mirror, the big weights are hogged by the big guys (are u one of them?) and the machines are just too old and big for a small girl like me to use. plus their lockers are pretty dodgy.

Snail: I actully havent started using the weights myself yet, and I'm by no means the big guys hogging the machines. I really like the cardio machines so far.
Connie: Yes the pass is good for the gym, pool, ice rink, and a few other things I belive.

well i heard certain facilities are only reserved for the athletes. anyway i dont skate (yet) and i certainly am earth bound (no swimming too) so its just me and the machines in the gym and some running.
maybe we shld all hit the gym together and chase off the big guys hogging the machines .. or at least safety in numbers? haha

would be nice if we all acted on our suggestions. personally i wldnt mind but if theres no one actualy coming to meet me if i propose something .. then it would be rather redundant. what do you guys say?

I'm not quite sure if I understand your point. But I do agree that we should start acting a bit more instead of just contemplating different ideas. You take point

I've been saying to myself to exercise more unsuccessfully for days now ... need to get motivated. Guess it's kind of hard to organize something like this, but then again everyone here has the same shared interest.

Hey Im needing to go to the gym to but I'm scared as I dont know how to do anything, and don't want to look retarted. If anyones still going and knows how, you should let me know, I really need my exercise.

The gym memberships include fitness classes (like step aerobics, kickaerobics,etc.) They also get you into the pool, rink, saune, tracks, etc. If you are scared and need some direction in your workout, there are certified fitness attendants constantly in the grotto. If you go and ask them to help you, they would love to help you!
