- use the web-based procedure called CLAIMID to create a personal UM identity (UMnetID);
- differentiate between student computer accounts and their services (UMnetID and INS);
- access JUMP, the campus portal, to get personal online information and resources;
- use and manage your JUMP email account;
- recognize a number of computing support resources available at the UM.
