Attend graduate program orientation sessions
All new graduate students at U of M are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend orientation sessions offered by their respective departments, as well as the campus-wide graduate student orientation sessions offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Students' Association. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about tips for graduate student success, how to apply for merit-based funding, and about campus resources. You should have received information about your department's orientation schedule before you arrived on campus in the fall. For more information about the Graduate Students' Association orientation, visit the GSA orientation website, or call 474-9181. For information on campus-wide orientations, click here.| Finding your Way Around Campus | Becoming Familiar with Policies |
