Career and Employment Services assists all undergraduates and graduate students at the University of Manitoba with career planning and job search issues. Services include job postings, a variety of workshops, individual consultations, career fairs, publications, resources, and information on co-operative education/internship programs.

Career and Employment Services works with employers to help meet their recruitment needs. With a student population of over 28,000, these services are available to employers year-around. Services include advertising of job opportunities, scheduling of on-campus briefing sessions and interviews, career fairs, and co-operative education/internship programs information.

University Teaching Services (UTS) is a faculty development unit that works in collaboration with faculty and graduate students to provide leadership, expertise, and support in fulfilling the teaching and learning mission of the University of Manitoba. UTS contributes to the practice and scholarship of teaching through guidance, collaborative problem-solving, and research with respect to teaching and learning effectiveness, curriculum planning, and institutional policies and infra-
structure to optimize the learning

The English Language Centre offers academic English courses and programs to prepare students for university study as well as to assist students already in academic study at the University of Manitoba. All instructors of the English Language Centre have completed graduate work in the area of Teaching English as a Second Language and are experienced in teaching English for Academic Purposes.

The Learning Assistance Centre (LAC) serves graduate and undergraduate, full and part-time students at the University of Manitoba. Students are invited to access the resources available on the LAC web page, drop by the LAC to meet the learning skills instructors, and/or attend any of the year-round workshops in order to further develop academic strengths and skills in writing, learning, and research.
