Bison recreation services offer a variety of programs and services to its members. The membership includes access to a swimming pool, two gymnasiums, a cardiovascular training area, free weight/weight machine training areas, squash/racquetball courts, tennis courts, two indoor tracks, an ice rink, and more. A number of sports leagues and recreation clubs run all year around. During the regular sessions, you can also participate in different intramural sports and register for various adult wellness programs.

The Athletic Therapy Centre is a leading resource for consultation and treatment in the promotion and restoration of healthy active living to athletes, the University of Manitoba community, and the community at large. ATC also provides an educational center for students pursuing a career in Athletic Therapy. The facility has 8 examination tables, an exercise rehabilitation area, a hydrotherapy room, two separate physician examination rooms, and a team room.

The University Health Service is a health unit consisting of family physicians, nurses, and office staff. They offer a full range of medical services, including acute and minor health care problems, check ups, prenatal care, health and travel counselling, immunizations, and health promotion programming. After hours and on weekends, for URGENT calls, a physician will be available by telephone at 474-8411. The doctor you speak to will be a physician from the University Health Service. In an emergency on Campus call 555 for police and ambulance assistance.
