You can access the UM Libraries from any Internet-enabled computer. The specific sites to acces the Libraries are:
From JUMP
- The Libraries homepage, www.umanitoba.ca/libraries
- the UM homepage
- the UM Jump portal
- To get to the libraries from the UM homepage, move your mouse over the "The University" tab and then select "Libraries" from the drop down menu.
From JUMP- To get to the libraries from Jump, select the "Libraries" tab from the list of tabs across the top of the screen.
- If you access the library from JUMP (the UM portal) and need to view your library account or any library areas that are restricted to UM students and staff, you will need to use your library ID and PIN, only once - the first time you log in to your library account. After that initial log in, Jump will remember your library ID and PIN.
Signing In
- Libraries patrons wishing full internet access are required to enter their personal INS id, Libraries ID, or Temporary Internet ID at all Libraries' public access computers.
- Students, staff and faculty may claim an INS id by visiting http://www.umanitoba.ca/claimid. This ID is used at the Novell login prompt.
- Temporary IDs can be requested at any Circulation Desk.
