Introduction to University (ARTS 1110)
Page 15 / 18
ARTS 1110 is a 3 credit hour course designed to help students make a successful transition from high school to University.
The course covers topics such as academic writing and research skills, and identifies ways for students to learn and study more efficiently.
ARTS 1110 is restricted to students who have completed less than 12 credit hours, so first year is likely the only opportunity you’ll have to take this course.
Taking ARTS 1110 satisfies the written English requirement ('W' course).
Some programs do not allow this as your 'W' requirement, so make sure to look under your target faculty's Tips for Choosing Courses section in the Start Book.
