A little about yourself    Though Mum was born in Winnipeg, other then the train station and the airport I've never been there. I'm doing distant Education from BC because the courses offered sounded so much better then here at UVic but I wasn't willing to make the move yet.

To-Do Item: wants to meet people who are taking DE courses...

    All I can say, is that I've double checked and the course I'm taking this semester doesn't have a final exam, yippee! A few of my friends have also taken DE courses and overall I've done the best as I knew what to expect the most. I took correspondence courses for Grade 2 when my family spend three months in Australia and Grade 6 after missing months of school in Grade 5 and still was ahead of the rest of the class.

    The biggest problem I have is the ability to bounce things off others....

    I Graduated from high school 10.5 years ago and finally started taking University courses 2 years ago. Between the Diploma in Radio Broadcasting, first year apprenticeship for Carpentry, a year working in Europe and a year as an aupair. I love learning which is why I'm here.

    There is a difference between the formal learning of school, and the just as important learning found in life.

    Now it's time to get back to procrastinating on Facebook....
