A little about yourself	I'm a 4th year advanced English major. I spent my summer reading English novels from the 16th and 17th century so I fit right in with the literature buffs here at the U of M. I'm also the news editor for The Manitoban, the U of M's student newspaper. It's a big job and between work and school my life can get a little nuts! When I do find free time I spent it playing video games and watching movies...I have a minor in film studies so I love pondering over Hollywoods latest issues and flops.

You don't need any references to volunteer for the Manitoban. I can't speak for sure for all editors, but for my section (news) you just come in willing to learn and ready to write. I work with all volunteers to help them develop their writing skills and I know the other editors are just as willing to help out.

If you want to volunteer just email the editor of the section your interested in and they'll gladly get back to you!
