To-Do Item: start an animal rights student group
  • Re: start an animal rights student group Oct 19, 2007, 9:38 am
Bollocks! N/m last "post" .... what about an enviro-animal rights cause? What with a complete collapse of marine life projected by 2050 and also the plight of our polar bear bros and sis' up north. More food for thought ...
    Cheers!...

Justa food fer thought here ... if/when such a group were to get started, what'd be the aim and scope of the group? What'd you want to accomplish that wouldna be a "duplication of services" (i.e., not re-doing what existing animal rights groups are already doing)?

I have some nice graphic design skills, if ever necessary. What to do? what to do .....

To-Do Item: learn to dance in the club
  • Older students DO need to have a parrrrtay (pirate-themed, anyone?) Oct 2, 2007, 1:37 pm
Yeah, so I never danced in my life before this one night I went to a club in Regina with my sister. Then "Children" by Robert Miles came on and something in me just cut loose. Been told since then on many occasions I'm a pretty good dancer.

All I'd suggest is wait for a song to come on that you just HAVE to dance to. It'll come, grasshopper! LOL Happy...

To-Do Item: Are science and religious disciplines so diametrically opposed?
  • Mathematics .... Sep 23, 2007, 1:31 am
... they say, is the language of creation. I honestly think that God/Allah/ or whomever is a big ol' nerd-scientist. Golden Mean Ratio stands as a case-in-point example. Go GSG's (thassa God-Science-Geeks)....

  • Are science and religious disciplines so diametrically opposed? Sep 4, 2007, 3:15 am
Just throwing it out there as food for thought. I've found that science and religion are speaking about the same thing using different terms. Colbert once tipped his hat to religious multiplicity saying "there are many paths to Jesus". Have at 'er .......
