    Recently, I've talked to someone who wasn't typically the strongest student in math in high school and she said she was taking the Stats 1000 course. She told me that she found it a breeze because she took it all in high school applied mathematics.

    What if what you want to achieve in life requires you to have a good GPA? So taking "GPA Booster" courses does not necessarily just boost the "silly numbers that come at the end of the year" but it might help you achieve what you want to do. Or what if you are poor and require bursary or scholarship money to help you pay for university. Other people are in different situations, and I'm sure that no one goes to university to get good marks... or else, what's the point in going to...

    I think it really depends on the person and how strong they believe in their religion. The main difference between science and religion I believe is that science doesn't really care how it views nature, as long as it's right, while religion on the other hand thinks it's right, and sticks to its belief even though there is plenty of evidence suggesting otherwise. However, I know some people who try to explain science in terms of their religion, basically fit their religion to somehow make sense with...
