Discussion Item: good written english requirement?

    6 credit English literature classes are the way to go. I know, I know. Why would you want to take 2 terms of English when you already have to go through one. Well, it being 6 credits, essays and assignments would have to be spread out throughout the year rather than condensed into one term. I'm taking ENGL 1300 right now and for the first term, I only did two essays - one in class and the other 1000 words. Every other lecture was just laid-back discussions.
