A little about yourself    A cyclist for 4 years and a weightlifter for 2. The rest of my time at University will most likely be centered around the field of physical education and sports sciences. Although you wouldn't guess that, since most of my discussions involve politics, history, law, and morality.

    I always enjoyed sking in my gym classes, but I doubt I could teach anyone how to do it. Sad

    And Snail, you'll achieve more with your runs if you keep them more intense and about 30 minutes in duration.

    Long runs won't do much because you'll probably have to do it at a lower heart-rate, which won't increase your aerobic abilities as fast....

    Perhaps you should switch it up, that's usually what I do. Instead of just running, add swimming and cycling to your routine. Both of these result in the same benefits for the heart and weight-loss that running does.

    That and it gives your knees a little break. Happy...
