  • chatroom Oct 6, 2006, 11:09 am
i think it would be pretty cool to have a chatroom in here, it would be a lot more interesting... I'm not saying it isn't cool now though, someone should have done this years ago...

  • Re: Think bigger!!!! Oct 6, 2006, 10:56 am

I went on it this summer too!! I think I was more excited than the little kids...
I think we need to remain focused though! We've got a lot of digging to do.. does anyone have some spoons or stuff we can use to dig? If we do a little each day then it'll go by fast....

I'm okay at melodies, but I suck at writing lyrics.. I have a couple songs I've written, they're both kinda rock/pop though and I don't even like that kind of music.. my friends actually want me to record for the UM radio, but meh

I also have a computer program where you can write the music and print it out all purty-like, you can write for any instrument...

To-Do Item: form a band
  • Wooooo Oct 4, 2006, 4:59 pm
Okay.. well I think we've got something going here.. we've got accordian, bass, and all we need is someone with a low voice, and someone who can decently pick a guitar, and we've got a johnny cash band. As for me, I play a lot of different shiznit... anything from country jigs and reels to classic country(johnny cash, john denver) to new country (Brad paisley, tim mcgraw, garth brooks)(on guitar) to classical music(on piano) or soft rock/alternative (the fray, coldplay, evanescence)(keyboard).. I...

It would be awesome if we could have the tinkertown train to go through the tunnels we dig.. I wonder if we could steal it from there during the off-season.....

Discussion Item: Learn how to cook
  • Hey I should learn how to cook too Oct 2, 2006, 11:01 pm
Wow Ron.. you make cooking sound so much more complicated than it is!
yesterday I tried to make mushroom soup.. from a can. I thought that it didn't really matter when it was finished, because I was just warming it up on the stove. Actually there's some technique to it... But I found that out the hard way. Once I smelt the burning food, I realized I'd burned my supper... but with enough soda crackers and cheese it wasn't that bad. But it took me forever to get that black stuff off the bottom of the pot....
