Anne Ross graduated with distinction in May, 1999 with a BA in
drama and history, and already has an impressive portfolio of theatre and
film credits.
She has performed at the Stratford Festival (Anya in The Cherry
Orchard, and Charlotte in The Night of the Iguana); at the Winnipeg Fringe
Festival (Kotty in Shackout on 101, written by film and theatre professor
George Toles); the Newfoundland Cultural Centre (cast member of O Canada:
A Collective); The Manitoba Theatre Centre (Sarah Churchill and Abigail
Williams, The Crucible); and the university's Black Hole Theatre (Mrs.
Gazette, She Would if She Could).
Her film credits include Free Fall on the FOX network and Breakfast All
Day on CBC. In 1999-2000, Ross will be performing at the MTC Warehouse
Theatre in a new play by Jason Sherman, Patience; at the Prairie Theatre
Exchange in Walking on Water; and at the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, The Last
Night of Ballyhoo.
