Reporting, Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. The information is stored in your HR record and is available to you through employee self-service. Beyond your access, your responses are only accessible to a few individuals whose job it is to produce diversity reports for recruitment, retention, and strategic planning purposes.

Your response is confidential and used only to help ensure that the University is doing all it can to act on our equity, diversity and inclusion goals. Data will not be used for purposes other than those stated and only the combined totals of the data will be shared and individual information will not be identifiable and any groups with less than 5 members will not be published.

This personal information is being collected under the authority of the University of Manitoba Act. It will not be used or disclosed for other purposes, unless permitted by The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
