President's Award of Excellence For Support Staff

This celebrates the exceptional contributions of support staff during their career at the university. The Award consists of a certificate of recognition and a financial prize. Award winners may be eligible for subsequent awards after five years.

Criteria

  • Has achieved distinction during their career at the U of M by contributing to the university’s mission and goals
  • Serves as a role model for other university employees
  • Encourages and assists the growth and success of other members of the University community
  • Promotes colloboration and integrity through the development of successful collaborative relationships
  • Creates a positive work environment, characterized by respect, support, trust, and collegiality
  • Demonstrates creativity or initiative in improving procedures, practices, productivity and service levels
  • Supports Indigenous achievement at the University
  • At least 10 years service at the U of M
