Biography

Jhonaleen Ponce is responsible for the administration, operational functions and programming of the James W. Burns Executive Education Centre.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development and Recreation Management, Jhonaleen is UM alumna.  She has been working at the university since 2015, previously as a Program Coordinator for the Rec and Read Youth Mentorship program.  Prior to working with the university, Jhonaleen worked as a Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Worker with the opportunity to work one-on-one with newcomers to meet their settlement goals and organize programming and events for clients. 

Jhonaleen has a strong passion for continuous learning and capacity building and enjoys the opportunity to help others to continue to develop, both professionally and personally.
