Critical Incident Management
The University of Manitoba's approach to critical incident management, such as an active shooter on campus is to prevent the incident before it happens. In order to achieve this objective, the University has several policies and procedures in place which are designed to recognize and address disruptive behaviour that may be symptomatic of a more serious issue. These policies include:

Inappropriate or Disruptive Student Behaviour (1991)

Violent or Threatening Behaviour (2006)

Respectful Work and Learning Environment (2004)
