Security  Services monitors the 24 hour Emergency Response e-mail telephone lines. The emergency e-mail address and telephone number are available to all University of Manitoba students, staff, and faculty traveling overseas for University work and study programs.

Working Abroad:

The Security Services Department provides information booklets to students and staff who plan on working abroad. The information is provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and is available upon request.

Travelling Abroad:

Security Services also provides information booklets to students and staff travelling abroad. The booklets, developed by Foreign Affairs Canada, provides valuable information to travellers including safety tips and the location of Canadian government offices abroad.  If a Canadian Embassy is not available at your travel destination, Canada has agreements with several countries to provide consular services to each other's citizens.
