On September 17, 2019, CCWOC held a Welcome Event for its Fall 2019 Writer/Storyteller in Residence, Bill Richardson.  Bill was joined by Master's student Virginia Page Jahne who read from her micro-fiction piece titled Odyssey.  



On January 22, 2019, CCWOC held a Welcome Event for its Winter 2019 Writer/Storyteller-in-Residence, DUNCAN MERCREDI.  Duncan regaled the audience with a storytelling performance, as well as readings from his published poetry.  Duncan was joined by published author and Ph.D. Student, Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, who read from her novel On the Bank of the River.  To view photos from this event, please click here.

On October 20, 2017, CCWOC held a storytelling event in celebration of our beloved storyteller Louis Bird, who received an honorary doctorate at the University of Manitoba that week.  The following are some photos from the event at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
