Animism - the belief that all natural objects are endowed with souls, or spiritual identities that control and explain their characteristics and behaviour.
Animatism - the belief in a general spiritual power that is inherent in natural objects and forces.
Polytheism - the belief in many individually personified gods, who usually are integrated into a unified pantheon.
