The kin term system specific to Hawaii follows the general Hawaiian pattern.

Hawaiian Kin Terms, Male Ego

All the relatives within a generation receive the same kinterm without regard to collateral vs lineal or matrilineal vs patrilineal distinction, as illustrated in the following diagram.
